Injuries Reported After Crash On 422 In Lower Providence

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA —An accident on Route 422 on Wednesday afternoon led to injuries to an unknown number of victims, according to authorities and eyewitness reports.

The incident occurred at around 3:03 p.m. near the Pawlings Road underpass, according to Montco PA Active Incidents.

Lower Providence Township Fire Department was among the units to respond to the scene.

It's not yet clear what caused the accident or how many vehicles were involved.

Traffic was congested in the area in the wake of the incident.
