Man Arrested After Pointing Handgun During Route 422 Road Rage Incident: Cops

A man has been arrested after allegedly pointing a handgun at another driver during a road rage incident on Route 422, police said.

NORTH COVENTRY, PA — A man has been arrested after allegedly pointing a handgun at another driver during a road rage incident on Route 422 over the weekend, police announced on Tuesday.

Thomas Holland, 44, of Barto, has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, and related counts.

The incident occurred on Sunday, Aug. 20, at around 12:16 p.m., authorities said.

North Coventry Township Police Department were initially called to the area of Rt. 100 and Rt. 422 eastbound, where Holland had allegedly pointed the gun, according to police.

His gold Chevrolet Tahoe was stopped shortly thereafter in Limerick, where he was arrested.

Holland's bail was set at $50,000 cash, and after failing to post he was remanded to Chester County Prison.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
