Man Illegally Sold Firearms Outside Oaks Expo Center: DA

The suspect set up shop selling firearms in the parking lot of the Oaks Expo Center, police said.

OAKS, PA — A man has been arrested after illegally selling firearms outside of the Oaks Expo Center, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced.

Kevin L. Stillman, 48, of Aston, set up shop in the parking lot of the Expo Center while the Eagles Arms Gun Show was happening inside on Feb. 10, authorities said.

Police were notified that a man was selling weapons in the parking lot and went to investigate. An undercover detective told Stillman that he could not legally possess a firearm, and Stillman sold two weapons to him anyway, police said. Stillman later told the undercover officer that he would just report the guns as stolen.

When police attempted to arrest Stillman, he took a Glock-40 handgun and pointed it at his chin, threatening to kill himself, authorities said.

However, police were able to talk Stillman down and arrest him peacefully.
