Man Offers Cop A Cocktail While Walking On Bridge Street: Police
Police said that a man walking down Bridge Street in Phoenixville offered a patrol officer a drink from a cocktail.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A man was arrested in Phoenixville last week after offering a police officer an alcoholic drink - on the sidewalk on Bridge Street.
Police said that the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, at around 2:09 a.m., on the 300 block of Bridge Street.
Officer MacDonald saw the suspect, a 27-year-old Harleysville man, drinking a cocktail on the street, according to police.

The suspect then offered Officer MacDonald a sip of the drink, police said.
Officer MacDonald said no to the generous offer. He then issued a citation for an open container violation.
