Man Paints Graffiti on Phoenixville Homes and Businesses: Cops
A 12-year-old girl spotted the man spray painting graffiti on a business in downtown Phoenixville, leading to his arrest, police said.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Several homes and businesses around downtown Phoenixville were spray painted with graffiti over the weekend, authorities said. But a tip from a 12-year-old girl helped police put the the suspect behind bars.
The bulk of the damage was done to businesses on Main Street, Gay Street, and Bridge Street, and houses immediately surrounding that area on Saturday night, authorities said.
A 12-year-old girl saw the suspect vandalizing one of the businesses and reported it to authorities immediately, leading to an arrest.

The name of the suspect has not yet been released.
Volunteers gathered on Sunday to help scrub the paint away. Warren Brown, owner of Brown's Cow Ice Cream, donated his power washer to assist with the removal.
