Men Arguing About Marijuana In Phoenixville Call 911: Cops

In the latest edition of baffling local crime news: a man called 911 after arguing with his roommate over who should buy their marijuana.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — There have been some bizarre happenings in the Steel City this holiday season, but perhaps none quite as head-scratching as a recent spat that ended in a 911 call.

The incident occurred on Dec. 16 at 11:17 a.m. on the 100 block of Marshall Street, according to police reports.

Two men, who room together, were arguing over which one should buy the marijuana they wanted for the coming weekend, police said.

The argument became heated, and for some as of yet undetermined reason, one of the men called 911, authorities said.

Police said they told the men they do not resolve drug disputes.
