Missing Phoenixville Girl Found: Cops

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- An 11-year-old Phoenixville girl that was missing on Tuesday was found safe later that night.

Alison Hamilton was first reported missing after school when she did not return home, police said.

Phoenixville police reported that Phoenixville Middle School student was safe at home as of 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

"The Phoenixville Police Department wants to thank everyone who forwarded our post and helped with the search in our community," police said on Facebook.

It was not immediately clear where the girl was when she went missing.
