Muffler Flies Off Truck, Smashes Through Car Windshield On 422

COLLEGEVILLE, PA — A muffler flew off of a truck and smashed through a car windshield on Route 422 Friday, according to a report.

The incident occurred just before the Collegeville exit during the morning commute.

6ABC reports that the metal pierced through the windshield and landed directly between the husband and wife who were in the two front seats.

The couple, from Pottstown, said they did not think the truck even realized anything had fallen off.

"Something happened and then the glass was all in my face," Felecia Roth told 6ABC. "Luckily my face was down, otherwise the glass would have all been in the front of me."

No other injuries were reported.
