Phoenixville Fire Department's Gesture Supports Police

Phoenixville, PA -- Fire and police may historically be rivals.

But that doesn't mean that at the end of the day, they share a mission of public safety and well-being.

The Phoenixville Fire Department recently displayed their support for the police with a special gesture.

They added a thin blue line to the exterior of one of their fire trucks, "to show our support for them and police departments all across the nation."

Citizens and organizations around the nation expressed their solidarity with local police after a shooting in Dallas left five officers dead and several others injured.
