The Times Herald quoted a victim's impact statement written by the son-in-law:

“There is no way to accurately depict the impact that these instances have had on our family. There is nothing in the list of charges that covers my daughter’s night terrors, or my son’s feelings of self-blame. There is nothing there that acknowledges that we have had to leave our home, because we no longer feel safe there, or the fact that I can’t get the image of the video of what he did out of my head.”
