Phoenixville Police Are Now Hiring

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Do you have what it takes to be one of Phoenixville's finest?

The Phoenixville Police Department is hiring for a new full time officer. The new hire will start as a patrolman within the department.

Completed applications - an application is available here - must be returned to the Civil Service Commission at 351 Bridge Street, Second Floor, by 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14.

A physical agility test will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. at Phoenixville Area High School's Washington Field.

Applicants who pass the agility test may stay to take the written test, which will be held at 1 p.m. the same day.

Applicants must be 18 or over and under 40, unless they have more than seven years of experience, in which case they must be under 50.
