Phoenixville Police Begin Magic Show Extravaganza Ticket Sales
Will you be headed to the Phoenixville Police Association's Magic Show Extravaganza?

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Tickets have now gone on sale for the Phoenixville Police Association's 23rd Annual Magic Show Extravaganza, police announced.
Even though the event takes place in May, Sgt. Mark, show chairman, said surrounding area residents and businesses who've supported the event in the past will be receiving phone calls for ticket sales.
"We've started the phone calls over the past month so we could begin our ticket sales early," Mark said, according to a police press release.. "We get a tremendous turnout every year and it is due mostly to the ticket sales over the phone. The magic show is an annual event we sponsor so we can raise some funds for our association."

To avoid any misrepresentation, Mark said the group, Grandscale Fundraising, will be making the phone calls no later than 9 p.m. for the police association, the release states.
"We want the residents and businesses to know that if they receive a phone call from Grandscale Fundraising, that it is for tickets for the magic show," he said in a statement. "That way everyone will know that this is a legitimate phone call and not a scam or some other telemarketing call. Residents are more than welcome to call the Phoenixville Police Association for verification." Our non-emergency number at the station is 610-933-1180.

With last year's 22nd anniversary show being another success, Mark said this year's two-hour show will be just as special.
"We'd like to carry last year's success over to this year. We will be finalizing our lineup within the next week or so," he said. "We try to make it different every year. We gear it to be entertaining for both children and adults. In years past, it has always been several magicians performing magic tricks in a family-oriented atmosphere. The children especially enjoy the show. It's a great family event." The event will take place at the Phoenixville High School.
Funding raised supports the police association, our annual shop-with-a-cop program, bike helmets for kids, The Phoenixville Police Athletic League, as well as other police sponsored events and donations.
