Phoenixville Shooting Victim Loved Fishing, Working On Computers, Obituary Says
Joshua Mitchell, 20, had attended Phoenixville Area High School and loved fishing and working on computers, according to his obituary.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The 20-year-old man who was shot and killed on Bridge Street last week was a former student at Phoenixville Area High School who loved fishing and working on computers, according to his obituary.
A GoFundMe page for Joshua Mitchell, 20, has been launched to help his family with funeral expenses.
The page, "Donate for Josh Mitchell's Burial," has a goal of $5,000.

A fundraiser for his family will also be held at Petrucci's Ice Cream on Oct. 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mitchell was shot after an argument with Keyon La-Shawn Carpenter, 21, on Sept. 28, police said. Carpenter was arrested in Philadelphia the next day.

Joshua C. Mitchell, age 20, of Phoenixville, PA, died Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Phoenixville, PA. Born on July 29, 1997 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of Albert Mitchell and Julie Patel. He attended Phoenixville High School. Josh enjoyed weight lifting, working on computers and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by Sister, Sepna M. "Sissy" Mitchell of Pottstown, PA; Paternal Grandparents, Jenny and Jonas Hampton of Phoenixville, PA, Two Uncles, Johnny Mitchell of Phoenixville, PA, Timmy Mitchell of Phoenixville, PA; Aunt, Beth Trivelpiece of Spring City, PA; . Mr. Mitchell was pre-deceased by One Brother, Steven A. Mitchell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 9:45 am - 10:45 am Wednesday at funeral home.
