Phoenixville Woman Identified As Victim Of Fatal Route 113 Crash

A Phoenixville woman was killed in the crash that occurred on Route 113 in Upper Providence Tuesday morning, authorities confirmed.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- A Phoenixville woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash on Tuesday morning in Upper Providence Township, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office confirmed.

Catherine Boyle, 57, of Phoenixville, who was driving a Hyundai, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. An autopsy took place Tuesday but results are not yet available.

The incident occurred at 6:07 a.m. on Route 113 near Paperbirch Drive on Tuesday.

Three cars were involved in the crash but it's unclear what caused the accident, authorities said.

A second drive was taken to Paoli Hospital with minor injuries. The third driver was not hurt, according to officials.

The crash remains under investigation by both the Montgomery County Detective Bureau and the Upper Providence Police Department.
