Police Activity At Home In Phoenixville

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Police converged on a home on in Phoenixville on Friday morning, according to eyewitnesses and media reports.

The home was on Penn Street near North Street on the north side of Phoenixville.

Crews first arrived on the scene at around 7:35 a.m., according to Chester County Active Incidents.

The Times Herald reports that the incident was a "barricade situation." 6ABC reports that incident has since been "resolved peacefully."

Police have not yet provided any details regarding the incident.

Fire police were requested to scene.
