Home Invasion Burglaries Investigated In Chester County
Several home invasion burglaries have taken place in the area while residents were asleep, without their knowledge.
A series of home burglaries in the Westtown and East Goshen area have led police there to caution residents to be vigilant and lock their doors. Police said that two of the recent burglaries recently occurred at night and took place while homeowners were sleeping, and without their knowledge.
Detectives obtained images of the suspects who used the stolen credit cards in question in southwest Philadelphia, and they are displayed above.
The first reported burglary took place overnight on June 24 on the 400 block of Gateswood Drive. Owners were asleep when a burglar entered through an unlocked side door, ransacked the first floor, stole the keys to their 2005 Volvo, and drove away.

The second incident occurred Saturday, July 8 overnight on the 2600 block of Bidefore Court in Westtown.
While asleep, burglars entered through the unlocked rear deck door and stole car keys, a bag, and a credit card, police said.

A third incident also took place on July 8 on the 100 block of West Hilltop Road in Westtown, according to authorities. Burglars stole a 1997 black Jeep Grand Cherokee from the driveway.
