GALLERY: Phoenixville Attempts To Dig Out From The Storm

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Across the borough on Monday, residents struggled to burrow their homes and vehicles out from beneath huge mounds of snow.

Many streets remained unplowed Monday night, and many expressed awe and disbelief at the difficulty of roads, especially side-streets.

On blocks surrounding downtown and on the North Side, cars frequently became stuck, and residents banded together to push them free.
