Steel City Coffeehouse Closes In Phoenixville
It's a sad day for the local music scene in the Phoenixville area.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- An iconic Phoenixville coffee shop and music venue is closing its doors.
Steel City Coffeehouse, located at Bridge Street and Main Street in the heart of Phoenixville, will shut down.
The local business posted a note on their Facebook page on May 21 stating that the following day would be a "final jam session."

The Pottstown Mercury first reported that Steel City was up for sale on Craigslist.
The asking price: one dollar. The ad reads:

Steel City Cafe / Music Venue has been a main focal point of Phoenixville PA for 20 years.
