Suspect In Numerous Phoenixville Vehicle Break-Ins Caught: Cops
Police said they caught the man red-handed as he tried to break into a car in Phoenixville.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A man suspected of breaking into numerous vehicles in the Phoenixville area was caught red-handed by police.
The incident occurred at around 5 a.m. on Aug. 6 on the 1200 block of Tyler Avenue, according to Phoenixville police blotters.
James Fisher, 35, of Schuylkill Township resisted arrest when an officer showed up on the scene as he was trying to get into a parked car, police said.

When more officers arrived, Fisher became compliant.
Police said Fisher had several items in his possession that had been taken from previous break-ins. If you have recently had items stolen from your vehicle, contact the Phoenixville Detective Division at 610-933-1180 Ext. 816 to have your things returned.

Fisher has been charged with theft from a vehicle, receiving stolen property, and resisting arrest.
