Two Chester County Men Arrested For Child Porn Distribution, Possession: Attorney General

Two Chester County men have been arrested in separate cases for possession and distribution of child pornography, the Attorney General said.

Two Chester County men have been arrested for possessing and distributing child pornography, Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced.

Al Rafael Penaloza Ovalles, of W. Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown, was busted after an online investigation revealed his computer was sharing sexually graphic images of children, the Attorney General said.

Agents found numerous devices containing child pornography within Ovalles' home, officials said.

He will be charged with five counts of distribution and 20 counts of possession of child pornography. His preliminary hearing is set for July 20.

"Online exploitation of children is a foul problem confronting law enforcement in our state and our nation," Attorney General Kane said. "In Pennsylvania, we have aggressively gone after those who sexually exploit children and asked our judges with success to impose severe punishment."

The second arrest was of Randi Darwin Vassar, 43, of Persimmon Drive in Oxford.

Similar to Ovalles, police tracked Vassar's activity online after child porn was distributed through a file sharing service, according to the Attorney General.

Once agents executed a search warrant, authorities said they found numerous videos of apparent child pornography.

Vassar was arrested and faces five counts of distribution and 62 counts of possession of child pornography.

A preliminary hearing is tentatively set for June 21.
