Woman, 24, Struck By Car On Bridge Street In Phoenixville

A 24-year-old woman is recovering after she was struck by a car in downtown Phoenixville last week.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A 24-year-old woman is recovering after she was struck by a car in downtown Phoenixville last week, police said.

The incident occurred on Thursday, March 15 at around 7:30 p.m.

The victim, from Collegeville, was hit by a car as she crossed Bridge Street at the intersection with Main Street.

The driver of the car, a 20-year-old man from Limerick, remained on the scene after the incident. Trappe Ambulance arrived and took the woman to Phoenixville Hospital for treatment.

Police said that the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
