YMCA Credit Card Thieves Sought: Schuylkill Twp. Police
Several suspects have stolen credit cards from vehicles at the local YMCA and used them for shopping sprees around the area, cops said.
SCHUYLKILL TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are working to track down several suspects responsible for multiple vehicle break-ins at the local YMCA on Pothouse Road.
The suspects either opened unlocked cars in the YMCA parking lot, stole keys from unlocked gym lockers, or forced their way in, stealing credit and debit cards, police said. They then used the cards for shopping sprees at Target, Best Buy, and the Apple store.
Similar thefts with suspects matching the same description have been reported around Chester County, Lancaster County, and even in Iowa, according to authorities.

Most recently, the suspects used stolen cards to make a $3,000 purchase at the King of Prussia Apple store.
The thieves are devious, switching their vehicles and license plates frequently and often wearing exercise clothes.
