North Allegheny Remains Undefeated After Win Over Pine-Richland

The North Allegheny Tigers continued their undefeated streak Friday with a 35-7 homecoming win over .

The Tigers are now 7-0 overall and 4-0 in WPIAL Quad A – Northern Conference play.

Pine-Richland fell to 1-6 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

Offensively, North Allegheny racked up 361 yards – 226 in the air and 135 on the ground. NA’s quarterback, Mack Leftwich, passed for 226 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Pine-Richland accumulated 186 yards – 60 on the ground and 126 in the air.

Fourth Quarter

NA- Alex DiCiantis scores on a short run. Extra point good by Jason Buchert, making score 35-7 with 9:42 left in game.

Third Quarter

Neither side scored during third quarter.

Second Quarter

NA – It took 8 seconds of possession for NA to pull off a 44-yard touchdown pass from QB Mack Leftwich to James Kleinhample. Kick by Jason Buchert good, putting score at 28-7 with 4:23 left in quarter.

First Quarter

NA - Brendan Coniker scored on 5-yard pass from Mack Leftwich and Jason Buchert added the extra point to put North Allegheny in the lead 14-7 with 2:25 left in the quarter.

PR - Running back Brock Baranowski scored on a 13-yard screen pass and Ben Engel kicked the extra point with 4:52 left in the quarter to tie the score 7-7.
