2 New Restaurants Debut In Pittsburgh Area
Two new eateries have opened in Pittsburgh on opposite ends of town. Get the details here.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Two new restaurants are providing diners with additional options in the Pittsburgh area.
Steel Kitchen opened last week in the old Shell's Sweet Treats building in Kenmawr Plaza in Plaza. The menu specializes in wings, ribs, hoagies and sandwiches.
The eatery owners have said a social media site for the kitchen will be up and running soon.

The restaurant's current hours are from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., but the owners have said they soon hope to open for breakfast as well.
In Penn Hills, Super Smash Burgh is open in the former Bird on the Run at 6520 Saltsburg Road. Following that restaurant's closure in March, former Bird on the Run employee Marcus Porter purchased the place.

"When preparation meets opportunity you have to capitalize," Porter said.
The fast-casual restaurant unsurprisingly specializes in, well, smashburgers.
