2021 Christmas Forecast: What Weather To Expect In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — Heading over the hills and through the woods this Christmas? Before the holidays arrive southwestern Pennsylvania, know what Mother Nature has in store for your travel plans or celebrations.

Will we see snowflakes or clear skies this weekend? If you’re a fan of a white Christmas, you might find a lump of coal in your stocking in the form of a damp day with no snow.

If you’re heading out of town after work Thursday, expect cloudy skies and temperatures near 40.

If you’re staying in town on Christmas Eve, expect some afternoon rain and a high temperature of about 50.

By Christmas Day, expect a few showers and temperatures again climbing to about 50.
