Allegheny County Coronavirus Cases Jump
Here are the latest Allegheny County coronavirus case numbers.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Allegheny County's confirmed coronavirus cases have increased to 48 as of 11 a.m. Monday, the county health department announced. That's up from 40 confirmed cases on Sunday.
Six people currently are hospitalized, up from four on Sunday.
With seven confirmed cases in Washington County, four in Wesmoreland County, three in Beaver County and one in Butler County, that brings the total number of coronavirus cases in southwestern Pennsylvania to 63 as of Monday morning.

The first coronavirus fatality in southwestern Pennsylvania was announced on Saturday. The person was in their late 60s and had been hospitalized at Jefferson Hospital.
County health officials believe there are additional cases that are not yet in the disease surveillance system.
