PITTSBURGH, PA - Twelve more coronavirus deaths were reported in Allegheny County, the county health department announced Thursday. That raises the county death toll from 26 to 38.

The health department said the increase in the number of deaths does not reflect a jump in deaths in the past 24 hours. Instead, it reflects a delay in deaths being added to the surveillance system.

The number of coronavirus cases in Allegheny County stood at 925 as of 11 a.m. Thursday. That's up from 904 on Wednesday and 893 on Tuesday.
