Allegheny County Reports One New Coronavirus Death
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Coronavirus now has claimed the lives of 123 people in Allegheny County, the county health department announced Monday That's up from 122 on Sunday and 120 on Saturday.
The number of coronavirus cases climbed to 1,511, up from 1,503 on Sunday and 1,486 on Saturday.
Two hundred and seventy-four people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, up from 273 on Sunday and Saturday.

With 491 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 417 in Westmoreland County, 195 in Butler County and 124 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to2,738.
According to the state Department of Health, there have now been been 241 coronavirus deaths
thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and twenty three in Allegheny County, 78 in Beaver County, 30 in Westmoreland County, six in Butler County and four in Washington County.

With the outbreak slowing throughout the region, Gov. Tom Wolf has announced that all of southwestern Pennsylvania can begin reopening on May 15, with the exception of Beaver County.
