Allegheny County Stay At Home Order Imminent: Officials
Several state elected officials say a stay at home order will be issued for Allegheny County on Monday.
PITTSBURGH, PA - At least two state representatives have said a stay at home order will be issued for Allegheny County today. It will go into effect at 8 p.m. Monday and be in effect for the next two weeks.
Representatives Jason Ortitay and Mike Puskaric, both of whom represent portions of Allegheny and Washington counties, both stated on social media that people can continue to work if they are on life-sustaining business or have received a waiver. People also will be allowed outside for food, emergencies and exercise.
Gov. Tom Wolf previously has mentioned that state stay at home orders were a possibility. Wolf's office is expected to provide more details Monday afternoon.
