Pittsburgh To Get Another Snowstorm; See Early Accumulation Estimates Here
Winter is not yet done pummeling Pittsburgh. Weather forecasters are predicting another potentially significant snowfall this week.
PITTSBURGH, PA — With five-foot high piles of frozen snow in some parts of Pittsburgh, the last thing that's needed is additional accumulation.
The last thing that is needed is about to happen, according to the National Weather Service.
A fast-moving clipper is on the way, bringing widespread snow starting Friday and lasting into early Saturday morning.

According to the weather service, most spots are looking at 1–4 inches of total accumulation. Locally higher amounts are possible in the higher elevations.
A bright spot: The weather service says the snow will be dry and fluffy, so it will be easy to brush off of cars and easily blown into the wind.

The heaviest snow rates are expected last Friday morning. The snow should continue through Friday night and taper off early Saturday.
After that, Pittsburgh takes another dive into the polar plunge. The high temperature on Saturday will only be 19, with an expected low of three. On Sunday, the temperature will rise to a high of 21, but the anticipated low is one degree below zero.
