Here are the top stories today in Pittsburgh:

1) A church in the Bloomfield neighborhood was recently vandalized, and local police are seeking information about who is responsible. Shepherd Wellness Center Church on Sciota Street received the vandalism, with most markings being mostly illegible but incorporating anarchist symbols. Investigators believe there are two suspects in this case, potentially a man and a woman. Police ask that you call or text 412-495-6052 if you have any information.

2) The Pittsburgh 'Pet and People Apparel Company' is doing better than ever businesswise —thanks, in part, to a recent partnership with Snoop Dogg. "Snoop Dogg's team worked with Little Earth, a pet and people clothing brand, to create the Snoop Doggie Doggs line, which boasts a chewable boom box that says 'bow wow wow yippie yo yippie yay,' a chain-linked dog bowl and a dread-ended baseball cap for dogs, among other items." Co-founder of the brand feels that Snoop Dogg is the perfect partner, because the goal behind the line is to have your dog looking 'like rap royalty.' Little Earth has been catering to Pittsburgh's hunger for local merch for more than 30 years, getting its start back in the day by making recycled bottle cap belts and license plate handbags with a soft heart for the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.

3) Speaking of Snoop Dogg — he will join another local legend, Wiz Khalifa, in concert at the Pavilion at Star Lake on July 18. The High School Reunion Tour will also include performances from Too $hort, Warren G and Berner. Tickets will go on sale to the general public March 10 at livenation.com. Presales will begin March 7.

4) With spring and summer on the horizon, gas prices are trending upward. According to an industry analyst, the looming price increase across the summer months is a country-wide phenomenon. "The higher cost of various summer blends "is being passed along to motorists, as we see every year ahead of the summer driving season," said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. "Some regions are moving to the required summer gasoline in different steps than others, and the fragmentation of required blends absolutely plays a role in these price increases."

5) Local station KDKA-TV is launching a new daily talk show to replace Dr. Phil. The programming switch comes after Dr. Phil's imminent retirement, leaving a pending gap in the station's afternoon airing schedule. On Monday, the station announced that space will be filled with a new program, "Talk Pittsburgh," debuting March 20 at 3 p.m. "The program will address the big three news stories — known as the known as "3 at 3" — that impact Pittsburgh residents every day." KDKA news anchor Heather Abraham will be the host of the upcoming show.
