Consumer Alert Issued For Pittsburgh-Area Restaurant

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for The Spot Etc. on Frankstown Road in Penn Hills for numerous health violations.

A recent inspection found two chubs of ground beef, five cases of raw chicken, two bags of shredded cheese and three packages of sliced cheese stored at higher than acceptable temperatures in the walk-in cooler.

Additionally, food debris was observed on magnetic strips storing clean knives.
