Coronavirus: Allegheny County Reports Second Death
A second person has died from the coronavirus in Allegheny County, health officials said Tuesday.

PITTSBURGH, PA - A second person in Allegheny County has died from the coronavirus, the county health department announced Tuesday.
The individual who died was a female in her late 70s. She had no recent travel but did have other health issues that may have delayed recognition of COVID-19.
Medics who responded to a 911 call were wearing personal protective equipment. After reporting the symptoms, coronavirus testing was performed. After results came back positive, the health department began contact tracing based on information from her family, whose members have been placed into self-isolation.

Allegheny County's confirmed coronavirus cases have increased to 58 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, the county health department announced. That's up from 48 confirmed cases on Monday and 40 on Sunday.
With seven confirmed cases in Washington County, six in Westmoreland County, five in Butler County and three in Beaver County, that brings the total number of coronavirus cases in southwestern Pennsylvania to 79 as of Tuesday morning. That's up from 63 as of Monday morning.

According to Pennsylvania Department of Health figures, Allegheny County has recorded the fourth-most caronivirus cases in the state behind Montgomery, Philadelphia and Delaware counties.
Residents of Allegheny County and six eastern Pennsylvania counties remain under a two stay-at-home order issued Monday by Gov. Tom Wolf.
