Coronavirus Cases Climb Again In Allegheny County
Here are the latest numbers on coronavirus cases in Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Allegheny County's confirmed coronavirus cases have increased to 290 as of 11 a.m. Monday, the county health department announced. That's up from 265 cases on Sunday and 219 cases on Saturday.
Thirty-eight people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, up from 35 on Sunday.
With 47 confirmed cases each in Butler and Westmoreland counties, 28 in Beaver and 24 in Washington counties, that brings the total number of coronavirus cases in the five-county southwestern Pennsylvania region to 436 as of Monday morning. That's up from 392 on Sunday and 303 on Saturday.

There have been four coronavirus deaths in southwestern Pennsylvania, with two each occurring in Allegheny and Butler counties.
According to Pennsylvania Department of Health figures, Allegheny County has recorded the fourth-most coronavirus cases in the state behind Montgomery, Philadelphia and Delaware counties.

Residents of the five-county region remain under a stay-at-home order issued by Gov. Tom Wolf. The edict is in effect until at least April 6.
