Coronavirus Claims More Lives In Allegheny County
Here are the latest coronavirus case statistics for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Two more people have died from the coronavirus in Allegheny County, bringing the county COVID-19 death toll to 12, the county health department announced Thursday.
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases have increased to 759 as of 11 a.m. Thursday. That's up from 720 on Wednesday and 689 on Tuesday.
One hundred and seventeen people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, up from 113 on Wednesday and 101 on Tuesday.

With 183 confirmed cases in Westmoreland County, 128 in Beaver County, 113 in Butler County and 59 in Washington County, that brings the total number of coronavirus cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 1,242 as of Thursday morning. That's up from 1,177 as of Wednesday morning and 1,086 as of Tuesday morning.
According to the state Department of Health, there have now been been 28 coronavirus deaths thus far in the five-county region: Thirteen in Beaver County, 12 in Allegheny County, two in Butler County and one in Westmoreland County. That's up from 21 on Wednesday.

According to state Department of Health figures, Allegheny County has recorded the fourth-most coronavirus cases in the state behind Montgomery, Philadelphia and Delaware counties.
All Pennsylvania counties remain under a stay-at-home order through at least April 30. Gov. Tom
Wolf has ordered schools and non-life-sustaining businesses closed indefinitely.
