Dead Man, Alligator, Venomous Snakes Found In Pittsburgh-Area Home
Aliquippa police were surprised when they responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious man on Tuesday.
ALIQUIPPA, PA — Police responding to a 911 call Tuesday for an unconscious man found him dead in a home containing an alligator and around 150 snakes - dozens of which were venomous.
The dead man has not been identified, but police said he was 23 years old. WPXI-TV reported that he was found with a snake bite.
Code enforcement officer Jim Bologna told KDKA-TV that the home's four adult occupants were in business selling the snakes. He said a cobra, rattlesnake and black mambas were among the carnivorous reptiles found in the house.

According to KDKA, the reptiles were taken to an exotic pet store in Ambridge that is affiliated with the Beaver County Humane Society.
The home's occupants could face fines.
