Dunkin' Opens First Pittsburgh 'Next Generation' Location

PITTSBURGH, PA - Dunkin' Donuts is dead. Long live Dunkin', which opened its first "next generation" store in Pleasant Hills Tuesday. It's the chain's first new western Pennsylvania store opening since the brand name change was announced in September.
The new Dunkin’ location at 98 Clairton Boulevard in Pleasant Hills, features a modern
design, new cold beverage tap system and high-volume coffee brewer. There's also an enlarged pick-up area and and video queue screens to track order progress enhance.
The new Dunkin’ is the 52nd Western Pennsylvania store owned by Heartland Restaurant Group.
Thirty new jobs are being created as a result of the new location.

“We have received tremendous positive feedback from customers in other cities where the next
generation stores have already opened, and we expect Dunkin’ fans in Pittsburgh to be just as
enthusiastic about our new store design and innovations,” Thomasina Dennison, Dunkin’s Integrated Marketing Director, said in a statement.
To celebrate the grand opening, all customers who visit the new Pleasant Hills location through April 30 can enter to win free coffee for a year. The prize will be awarded in the form of a gift card that will be valid at any of Heartland's western Pennsylvania locations.

Also, if your first or last name is Dunkin, Duncan or a similar spelling, you can receive a free small coffee and a doughnut through April 30 at the Pleasant Hills location. Proof of your name, such as a driver's license, must be presented.
