East End Brewing Closing Strip District Taproom
Find out here why the popular taproom is shutting its doors.

PITTSBURGH, PA - After nearly a decade of operation in the Strip District that began in a public market, East End Brewing is closing its Strip District taproom on 19th Street. The last day of operation will be June 30, the brewery announced via Instagram.
"We've loved being a part of our adopted neighborhood for all these years, getting to meet and share our beer with both locals and tourists alike," a post on the Instagram page stated. "Someday we may be back, better than ever."
The taproom is closing so the brewery can concentrate on Larder of East End, a new eatery that will open next week in East End's Larimer brewpub. The new eatery is a joint venture of East End owner Scott Smith and award-winning chef Justin Serverino, the co-owner of Morcilla, the popular Spanish restaurant in Lawrenceville.
