Four More Allegheny County Coronavirus Deaths Reported
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Coronavirus now has claimed the lives of 127 people in Allegheny County, the county health department announced Tuesday. That's up from 123 on Monday and 122 on Sunday.
The number of coronavirus cases climbed to 1,526, up from 1,511 on Monday and 1,503 on Sunday and 1,486 on Saturday.
Two hundred and eighty people have been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak, up from 274 on Monday and 273 on Sunday.

With 491 confirmed cases in Beaver County, 418 in Westmoreland County, 195 in Butler County and 124 in Washington County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county
southwestern Pennsylvania region to 2,754. That's up from 2,738 on Monday.
According to the state Department of Health, there have now been been 245 coronavirus deaths
thus far in the five-county region: One hundred and twenty seven in Allegheny County, 78 in Beaver County, 30 in Westmoreland County, six in Butler County and four in Washington County.

With the outbreak slowing throughout the region, Gov. Tom Wolf has announced that all of southwestern Pennsylvania can begin reopening on May 15, with the exception of Beaver County.
