Frozen Dinner Sold In PA Recalled Due To Salmonella Risk
The recall comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has announced a recall of a frozen dinner shipped to retailers in Pennsylvania because of salmonella concerns.
A Hungry-Man frozen dinner is being recalled because it contains the same whey ingredient that also prompted the recall earlier this week of certain Ritz crackers and Ritz Bits products, as well as Goldfish crackers.
This latest recall is for the 15.25-oz. individual frozen microwavable dinners with “Hungry Man Chipotle BBQ Sauced Boneless Chicken Wyngz” printed on the label and bearing a best buy date of Sept. 6, 2019.

In addition to Pennsylvania, these dinners also were shipped to Massachusetts and Virginia.
The whey powder ingredient was used in the ranch dressing seasoning supplied to the firm. The ranch dressing seasoning was incorporated into mashed potatoes and packaged as a component with the boneless chicken dinner.
