Funeral Costs Fundraiser Begins For 3 Pittsburgh-Area Crash Victims
An area racing group has started to raise money for the families of three men killed in a vehicle crash last weekend.
KITTANNING, PA — A Western Pennsylvania racing organization is helping to raise money to cover the funeral expenses of three of its members who were killed last weekend in a Crawford County vehicle crash.
AWRCS has created a GoFundMe page to benefit the families of the victims. The money that is donated will be split evenly among them.
Killed in the crash were Ronald Parisi, 21, of Chicora, the driver; Joshua Boettner, 19 of Butler and Levi Deal, 17, of Butler. Parisi and Deal were cousins.

According to Pennsylvania State Police at the Corry Barracks, the trio's vehicle was traveling east on Centerville Road in Athens Township when it went off the road and struck a tree.
"AWRCS is mourning the loss of some of their young racers in an auto accident last Saturday evening," the post on the page states. "Ronnie Parisi, Joshua Boettner (and)Levi Deal will be missed by many."

The organization said it has received numerous inquires about where to send contributions.
"No parents are ready to lose a child and 100 percent of the monies will go to help with funeral expenses," the post states. "May (the trio) rest in peace."
