Giant Eagle Implementing One-Way Aisles In Stores

The new policy will be in effect at all Giant Eagle supermarkets.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Giant Eagle is instituting one-way shopping aisles in its stores to enable easier social distancing during the coronavirus outbreak, the grocery chain announced.

One-way signs are being added to the floors of every aisle to direct shoppers.

Giant Eagle also is limiting the number of shoppers permitted in stores.

The chain also has installed plexiglass dividers between cashiers and customers in checkout aisles and established designated shopping hours for seniors.
