PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closure of Hanini Market on Brighton Road in the city's Marshall-Shadeland section because of an imminent health hazard.

A Feb. 6 inspection revealed the grease trap is malfunctioning and wastewater is leaking from the grease interceptor onto the basement floor. The health department is mandating that the entire basement be cleaned and sanitized after the grease interceptor is repaired before the market can reopen.

Additionally, loose rodent bait was found in the basement. Cooked gyro meat was being stored at an unsafe temperature in a covered pan and the store's handwashing sink has no water.
