If you want the product on supermarket shelves, you need to vote for it online quickly.

PITTSBURGH, PA - If you like the tasty combination of ketchup and mayonnaise but lack the initiative to mix the two condiments, you’re in luck. Heinz is considering introducing the ketchup-mayo hybrid Mayochup, currently only available in international markets, to the United States
But the Pittsburgh-based company will do so only if it gets 500,000 people to vote for the product on its Twitter page through April 15. If you want the company known for its 57 varieties to add a 58th, you better vote soon.
“At Heinz, we are always looking for opportunities to bring great tasting products to our consumers,” Heinz marketing director Nicole Kulwicki said in a statement. “Our new Heinz Real Mayochup recipe lives up to the same great taste and quality people have come to expect from the Heinz family of products, including ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce.”
