Huge Water Main Break Floods Strip District, Closes Restaurants
The break occurred early Tuesday evening.

PITTSBURGH, PA - A massive water main break flooded Smallman Street in the Strip District Tuesday evening and forced the closure of several restaurants, including Lidia's.
A 36-inch water main ruptured, according to the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority. Lidia's and Gaucho Parrilla Argentina were among the restaurants that are closed. It's unclear if they will be able to reopen on Wednesday.
