'Imminent Hazard' Forces Pittsburgh Restaurant To Close
The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered a Pittsburgh restaurant to close because of a hazardous condition.

SCOTT TOWNSHIP, PA —The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the Long John Silver's restaurant on Washington Avenue to close because of a chronic sewage link.
A recent inspection found a severe sewage odor present. Raw sewage was observed coming out of the rear of the building and flowing 110 feet into a stormwater drain. The flow increased dramatically when all of the fixtures inside the restaurant were turned on.
The restaurant operator told the health department that plumbers have suggested multiple pipe collapses. The operator is waiting on an estimate repair.
