John DeSantis, Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show Owner, Dies At 69
Mr. DeSantis, who died of cancer on Saturday, also was a prominent figure in Pittsburgh's historical community.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Funeral arrangements have made for John DeSantis, the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show executive director and local historian. Mr. DeSantis, 69, of the North Side, died Jan. 1 at his home.
The popular home and garden show will still occur March 3-14 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown. The event will mark its 40th anniversary then.
Mr. DeSantis also chaired the city Historic Review Commission for 1990 to 2oo3.
