Longtime WPXI-TV Reporter Leaving Station
After nearly a decade at the station, the reporter has decided to move on.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Following a nine-year stint at WPXI-TV, reporter Courtney Brennan is leaving the station this week. Brennan announced her departure in a Facebook post, saying, "I have some new and exciting television and social media opportunities and I've decided to just go for it."
Brennan started her career at WKTV in Utica, New York, according to her biography on the station website. She also worked at WQAD in the Quad Cites and in Ashville, North Carolina, before joining WPXI in 2010.
Brennan worked as the station's Westmoreland County bureau chief for three years before becoming a nightside reporter in the city. She has won three Emmy Awards and also is an Edward R. Murrow Award winner.

Born on the North Side and raised in the North Hills, Brennan has a journalism degree from Syracuse University and also has a bachelor's degree in public policy.
