To compensate for the delays caused by the discovery of the body, two shuttle buses were deployed to run from South Hills Village to South Hills Junction, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. Buses were collecting passengers at some of the stops between those two stations.

Port Authority officials acknowledged the incident on Twitter, calling it a "sad and disturbing situation."
