Mice Plaguing Pittsburgh Pizza Parlor
The rodent issue is bad enough for the Allegheny County Health Department to have issued a consumer alert.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for the Vocelli Pizza franchise on Baum Boulevard in Oakland because of rodent issues.
Inspectors on Monday noticed extensive mouse droppings throughout the facility, including under all shelving, in the breaker room, under several sinks, in the room containing the furnace and water heater, in the walk-in cooler, in floor and ceiling tiles in a storage room, all over metal for ventilation system, on soda bottles and in an inside office.
Inspectors also found two dead mice, one under the shelves near a soda cooler, the other in the breaker rom with its head stuck in a trap.

Numerous boxes and sticky traps are placed around the eatery, inspector said in their report.
Inspectors also found the exterior rear door has a three-inch long gap underneath where the door sweep is missing.

The restaurant remains open while the alert is in place.
